This is a unique journey through Italy which starts in Rome and ends in Venice. It includes many highlights of each city including Vatican City in Rome, the Uffizi and Accademmia galleries in Florence, beautiful towns in Tuscan including Siena, Lucca and Pisa.

Upon arrival in Rome, you will be met by one of our local French speaking representatives and privately transferred to the hotel in Rome (centrally located and walking distance from many of the most important monuments in Rome) where you will have a chance to relax before we begin a 2 hour familiarization tour of Rome where in the comfort of a fully secured vehicle you will have the chance to experience some of the highlights of the Eternal city.
The rest of the day will be at leisure.

This morning at 09:30 AM we will depart the hotel for Vatican City where you will have the chance with your local French speaking guide to experience one of the most important and prestigious city states in the world.
The tour also includes VIP, Skip the Line tickets to Vatican City where you will get to experience St. Peter's Cathedral, the Vatican Museums and the Vatican Gardens.
This will be a full day tour, so please make sure to wear comfortable footwear and appropriate attire to enter Vatican City.
After Vatican City, there will be time for lunch (on your own) and the rest of the afternoon will be free to enjoy Rome at your leisure.
Dinner and overnight at hotel in Rome.
This morning after breakfast at the hotel we will depart Rome for Florence with a stop en-route in the town Sainte Rita of Cascia in the region of Umbria, where you will have time to visit hte Patron Saint here.
After Sainte Rita, there will be time for lunch before continuing on to Florence via Siena, which is a beautiful historical town in the centre of the Tuscan region.
Today will be a full day tour dedicated to learning about the the Florentine master painters, sculptors and families who changed and shaped the course of Western History.
We will start our tour at the Accademmia gallery where Michelangelo's David is housed and you will get to experience and learn about the life and works Michelangelo housed in the gallery.
Following the Accademmia gallery you will begin your tour through historic Florence with your expert Florentine historian who will reveal the treasures and artistic masterpieces of the Piazza Signoria, Dante's house and the Medici family's legacy.
In the afternoon we will break for lunch and the rest of your day will be at leisure to enjoy the many treasures of Florence including Piazza Santa Croce and the Accademmia Gallery should you so choose, where you will be able to experience the masterpieces of Donatello, Raphaello, Caravaggio and many others.
Dinner in a local Florentine trattoria in Florence and overnight at hotel.
This morning we will embark by ferry into the Cinque Terre national park which is one of the most beautiful coastlines in Italy.
Today you can experience the national park at your leisure, since the ferries arrive at each town every hour, you can choose to stay as long or as little as you like in each place.
Return to Portovenere at 6:00 PM.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
This morning we will depart the Cinque Terre National park for the Italian Lake District with a stop en-route in Milan, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy shopping in the fashion capital of Italy (already one of the most fashionable countries in Europe).
There will be time today to shop to your heart's content in Milan and if you wish we can reserve you to see Leondardo Davinci's "Last Supper" we can do that.
Tonight at the hotel we have scheduled a typical "Apperativo" (non-alcoholic) on the hotel's roof-top terrace which is typically quite filling and offers lots of Italian delecacies.

Today will be a day at leisure for you to experience the beautiful Italian Lake District where you will have a chance to enjoy the beautiful towns, villages and gardens which this area of Italy is known for by ferry or foot.
Ferries depart regularly for the many garden-covered islands only accessible by boat from Bellagio.
If you wish you can also stay in Bellagio and enjoy the great shopping and walks in nature along the lakeside.
Overnight in Bellagio.
This morning we will depart Lake Como for Venice with a stop en-route in Verona, famous as the city which sets the scene for Shakespear's play "Romeo and Juliette". Verona is a very walkable city and here you will have the opportunity to enjoy the city at leisure and visit hte Roman aphitheatre if you choose to.
Lunch in Verona on your own, and then continue en-route to Venice, where you will be transferred via water-taxi to your hotel.
Enjoy the evening at leisure. Group dinner this evening.

This morning we will enjoy a guided tour of the Venetian Islands including Murano, Burano and Toricello, which are famous all over the world for the crafts which are produced here which include beautiful blown glass works.
You will have the chance to experience a glass-blowing demonstration as well as witness real artisans make the lace that Burano is famous for.
In the afternoon we will return to Venice where there will be time for lunch.
The rest of the afternoon will be at your leisure to enjoy Venice at leisure.
Tonight dinner will be on your own at leisure.
Overnight at hotel in Venice.
This morning will be a day for you to enjoy a privately guided Gondola ride through the s. erene waterways of Venice. You will get to experience a mode of transportation unique to Venice that has been used to navigate Venice for centuries.
In the afternoon there will be time for leisure.
Overnight and farewell dinner in Venice.
This morning after breakfast at the hotel, you will enjoy a private water taxi to the Marco Polo airport in Venice to board your flight home.
